Part of Channel 4’s series, “Take Your Knee Off My Neck”, the fourth film in the series and my directional debut, Respect Me, I’m a Doctor reveals a crisis within the healthcare system and it’s problem addressing racism towards black healthcare professionals. The short film tells the story and experiences of four female doctors who experience racism whilst trying to save lives and why they support the Black Lives Matter protests.
